Cua Lo town, Nghe An city is preparing zealously for the tourism season 2012 with the target of receiving 2,150,000 tourists, reaching the tourism revenue of 1,104 billion dongs.

Mr Doan Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Cua Lo Town said: There will be a lot of cultural activities associated with tourist attraction such as sacrifice ceremony in Van Loc temple, Nghi Tan district; traditional boat racing and folk games, art programs, exchange programs…

Currently, Cua Lo town is focusing on completing and upgrading tourism areas in Nghi Huong, Nghi Thu; at the same time investing on new tourism products creation and traditional villages restoration. The tourists visiting Cua Lo this year will have the opportunity to cruise the town by tramcar; visit the fishing villages, visit the seafood processing villages along the coast, cruise Song Ngu pagoda on Ngu island, squid fishing by basket boat at night and other attractive activities.

In spite of inflation impact and the expense tightening policy, Cua Lo town is determined not to reduce service quality and still requires travel agents to increase service quality as well as control the service prices, creating peace of mind and confidence in tourists. In addition, the town will plant more green trees in parks; upgrade walking paths system, revoke the ineffective construction projects in order to serve the tourists as much as possible.

The town will use 235 tourism accommodations, including 6,096 resting rooms of different types capable of serving 16,000 tourists per day.
