The features a lot of more sophisticated products than the previous event. The products are various in design, rich in traditional character.

A part of activities in preparation of the Da Lat Flower Festival 2011, the annual Craft Village Fair 2011 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Community will be held from December 29th to January 3rd, 2012. Location: Lam vien square, Dalat City, Lam Dong Province.

The fair aims to promote craft villages and their products, honour craftsmen and boost trade and tourism activities. It will also contribute to preserving and developing national cultural identities.



Ceramic - one of the typical products will be displayed in this fair

The fair will display and sell products of various groups. A display will showcase ceramic products, lights and flowers while another will feature rattan products, silk, "ao dai", brocade fabric, ceramics, fan, conical hats and flower products. 

In particular, the fair will also save considerable space to exhibit a craft village, and introduce 100 photographs about Vietnamese traditional handicrafts in past and present. There have been 180 showcases from 24 provinces across the country registering to join in the fair.

In addition, the attractive areas for gastronomy and skill demonstrations will open to service for  tourists in Vietnam travel.
