Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Khanh, a Vietnamese living in Germany, has been crowned Miss Vietnam in Europe at a competition held in Munich on January 9.

Kieu Khanh beat 34 contestants to take the crown and an award of 1,000 euros.

The first runner-up was Nguyen Mai Anh – Miss Vietnam in the Czech Republic, and the second-runner up was Nguyen Phuong Loan from Germany.

The organising board also presented the title of most beautiful face to Do Thuy Ngoc from Poland, Miss Ao Dai (traditional long dress) to Tran Viet Ha Ly from Germany, Miss Tourism to Vu Quynh Nga from Denmark, Miss Friendly to Kempe Thi Tuyet Trang from Germany, and the Miss Beautiful Body title to Ta Bich Thuy from Hungary.

After the contest, the contestants will visit Vietnam, meet with many young people and take part in charitable activities.

This year’s pageant was held by the “Our Common House” Association in Germany to mark the “Vietnam Year in Germany” and the 35^th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Germany.
