What makes Ha Long in August so beautiful?

This is not the first time I have been asked this question. And even now or anytime, my answer will remain the same: "Ha Long is always beautiful, no matter what time."But honestly, I rarely see a Westerner around Ha Long at this time of the year. Because tourists, those who have just come and gone for a short time know about us mainly through advertisements, leaflets that only promote "beautiful beaches", "Ha Long Park", "Sun Wheel "... they call it the symbol of Ha Long.

To me, Ha Long's August is a day of drunkenness with friends at the underwater stalls in Cienco 5, opposite Bai Chay, sharing the ordinary life, casual, peaceful side waves on the table full of cold beer bottles, the atmosphere is filled with the taste of barbecue oysters. A great scene for me.

They are too busy exploring the Bay, experiencing active summer activities. But forget about the Bai Chay bridge on the other side, where most local people live, where there is the identity of Ha Long. They missed an aspect of Ha Long Bay, part of the simplicity, with the same beach, together with the people living in a unique way.

In August, Ha Long Bay is still beautiful. Have you had the chance to see the gentle surf stroking the sand in the sunset of the loving-sea visitors yet? The sun is no longer as hot as it is the summer, nor hot as the last day so I love the feeling of watching the sea wave in the red horizon. Watching the appearance of the bay in the fall’s beginning, you would be like me, fall in love with Halong.

Although it is August, Ha Long Water Park is not a place to go, or swimming may not be the first thing in the criteria list of tourists. But other parts of Ha Long Bay are still remarkable.
