Joining Fun in Traditional Games of Children in Vietnam’s Mountainous Region
The games children play and entertain themselves in Vietnam’s mountainous region are different from those of most children in urban areas. These traditional games which have been played for centuries make tourists in Vietnam tourism strange and create their curiosity.
While urban children have access to all kinds of modern toys and they are fed up with these toys very quickly, kids in the rural and mountainous regions are playing traditional and simple games.
The games children play and entertain themselves in Vietnam’s mountainous region are more different than those of most children and intriguing to tourists in Vietnam travel.

With pieces of limestone, the imagination of children in Quan Ba district in Ha Giang province can go freely through paintings on the roads and pavements.

Only with a cloth cord, H’mong kids in Moc Chau town in Son La province in northern Vietnam can have fun together for hours, with swinging game, which allows them to discover new feeling in moving.

It is interesting for a H’mong boy in Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province, to sit in a grass handcast.
