There were 50 cruise ships operating in Ha Long Bay is painted white as prescribed.
We have 502 on Ha Long Bay cruise ship activities. As a rule, the vessel must be painted white before 30-4. Accordingly, the Department of Transportation has built train route to make sure paint does not affect the passenger business of the enterprise. The painting of ships is divided into 4 stages: May 1-2012 done 90 ships painted white; in February done 240 ships; in March done 402 ships and complete on 30-4.
Under the plan, 3/5/2012, PPC will establish inter-disciplinary inspection teams to check the performance of the business ship paint. For those vesselsnot make white paint under the plan, will not be licensed. This is a good news for Quang Ninh and also, Vietnam's tourism!
