Ha Noi capital to host sports, tourism film festival
The 6th Vietnam International Federation of Cinema and Television Sports Festival will be organise in Ha Noi from July 4-7 and will feature over 140 documentaries, scientific films, television films and cartoons on the subject of sports and tourism.

The festival will bring an opportunity to show Vietnam as a beautiful and friendly sports and tourism destination, said Phan Dinh Tan, a representative from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the festival's organiser.
It would also be a good opportunity to honour domestic and foreign sport and tourism films and television, to enhance international exchange in these areas, and to strengthen ties, friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding among countries and peoples, Tan said at a press conference held here yesterday.
Viet Nam Television, VTC Digital Television and local radio and television stations will participate in the event, along with provincial and municipal departments of culture, sports and tourism, film studios, media companies, film producers, amateur athletes and tour companies.
All athletes from the Ha Noi Open Dance Sports Tournament and the International Tennis Tournament will join in as well as martial artists.
