Oren Air (Russia) has just opened a new route from Krasnoyarsk to Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa) International Airport to take full advantage of the outflow of Russian tourists leaving the frigid winter for some sunshine in tropical Vietnam. The route will only operate from 30/10/2011 to the end of April 2012 with a frequency of one fight per day in the first 10 days then expand to one two-way flight per day and from more departure points such as Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo.

According to Mr. Truong Dang Tuyen – Head of Cultural and Sport Department of Khanh Hoa, 70% of Russian visitors would choose Nha Trang as their destination and the others would most likely come to Phan Thiet. Anh Duong Tourism estimated that there would be more than 20,000 Russian passengers coming to Vietnam this winter, thanks to the new route, which greatly increases their presence in Khanh Hoa.

In order to serve this new inflow, Khanh Hoa Tourism has established a diversity of tourism sites like Yang Bay Resort, Thap Ba Po Nagar, Hon Chong, Thac Ba Hot-spring, Tuong shows and many others exciting activities. In addition, the beauty of Khanh Hoa’s beaches and the freshness of its renowned seafood menu have been a major attraction for years.

Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) is one of the most popular destinations to international tourists coming to Vietnam. Last year, Oren Air also operated a similar route, albeit not as long as this year’s.
