Vietnam and Japan to exchange culture through festivals
A culture festival featuring Vietnamese and Japanese will take place in Hoi An ancient city from August 24 to 28.
The event “Vietnam – Japan culture exchange,” will include street arts, performances showcasing the two countries’ traditional dance, handicrafts exhibitions and haiku poem. It will also display photos featuring the 10 years of relationship between the two countries as well works depicting Japan’s rescue activities in the tsunami in March.
The festival will be held by the Embassy of Japan, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency in collaboration with Quang Nam province.
