A ceremony will be held in Hanoi on September 2 to receive embroidery picture called “the millennial wish of Thang Long-Hanoi” as a gift from XQ Da Lat Co. Ltd.

The picture will travel through Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue and other provinces and cities, before arriving in Hanoi on September 30.

It took nine outstanding craft workers of the XQ Da Lat Co. Ltd 1,000 days to make and complete it on August 3 after using 12kg of thread.

The embroidery picture is 4 meters by 3 meters in size, and weighs 167.5kg.

The embroidery portrays the Red River as a road running towards the sun with hundreds of lotus flowers on both sides and cranes flying above.
