An exhibition of photos and conference about Hanoi’s architecture were held in Paris on October 21.

Le Hong Chuong, Director of the Vietnam Cultural Centre in France, said Hanoi is popular with many foreigners for both its appearance and its internal beauty.

Historian Alain Ruscio and his colleagues expressed their feelings for Hanoi with valuable file photos of Hanoi in the past and present.

The photos showed views of the city on the Red River and the lives of agricultural workers in the Red River Delta many years ago.
