Exhibitions displaying photos of Vietnam taken by German photographer Jochen Voigt will open in the ancient city of Hoi An and several other locations in April.

The coming exhibitions are part of activities to mark the 35th anniversary of Vietnam-German diplomatic ties.

Earlier, in late 2009, the German photographer displayed his photos of the Vietnamese land and people in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr Voigt says he will display his photos-representing Vietnam’s past, present and future potential for development, especially in tourism-in Germany. He is also going to publish a book about Vietnam and make a documentary about Vietnamese youth this year.
