Good news for Vietnam travel - Ho Chi Minh City-based Ben Thanh Tourist last Saturday launched a new cruise ship route connecting HCMC and Vung Tau.<br>

Owned by Sea-Gull Express Joint Stock Company, the ship can carry up to 300 passengers.

During two hours on board, passengers can have a view of sceneries along the Saigon River, the Can Gio Mangrove Forest and the coastal city of Vung Tau. It's really excited to travel by this way. Cruise ship will attract many tourists as well as develop Vietnam travel in general, increase tours in Vietnam

Nguyen Dat Danh, CEO of Sea-Gull Express Joint Stock Company, said his company is working with Ben Thanh Tourist to develop more night tours and services on the Saigon River.

The HCMC-Vung Tau tour departs HCMC at 8 am everyday at District 4’s Nha Rong Wharf and leaves Vung Tau at 3.30pm at Cau Da Wharf.

Tickets cost VND280,000 (US$14) per passenger for common deck and VND350,000 (US$18) for VIP deck.
