Bi Saigon is an interesting guest house with a popular and comprehensive restaurant on the ground floor. The real attraction here comes in the form of some surprising and almost novelty rooms. For the price of a normal city double, staying in an eccentric and roomy 'suite' room is a viable option. We saw one deluxe suite -- it had a lobby area with a display case full of ornaments and a communal seating area. The bathroom was housed inside a mini room in the style of a Chinese villa, with it's roof tiles plainly visible throughout the room. Deeper still led to the sleeping area, where yet more seating, an office area, a fridge and TV and a mini balcony await – all this available for just $45. Bi's standard rooms are a decent size and have character, so also a good option for the price.
